Help NSEA kick off our spring work party season with the City of Bellingham’s Parks Volunteer Program at Red Tail Reach and the Racine Trail along Whatcom Creek, just below Whatcom Falls Park. We’ll be working to maintain this restoration site by removing non-native, invasive plant species and planting new native shrubs along the stream and trail. We’ll bring the tools and gloves – all you have to do is wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Parking is available in the Geri Fields parking lot at the corner of Fraser St. and Puget St. Look for signs and check in at the blue NSEA tent.
