The Center for Local Self-Reliance is having our first big soil-building project! We will layer cardboard, compost and wood chips and begin creating the shape of the gardens. The project will be settled with a dose of sweet compost tea to kick start this biological transformation.

Please park or pedal to the Fairhaven Park. The Parks Department has offered to bring all the tools we need- so just bring your favorite gloves and your hearts and hands.
